Daniel Francis Feehan
Bishop Daniel F. Feehan (1855-1934) was the second Bishop to serve the Diocese of Fall River. The son of William and Joanna (Foley) Feehan he was born in
Athol, Massachusetts on September 24,
1855. The family moved to Milbury, Massachusetts,
when Daniel was only three years old. He graduated from St. Mary's College in
Bishop Feehan High School, a parochial school in Attleboro, Massachusetts, was named for him when it opened in 1961.
