Daniel M. Kane is a graduate student studying mathematics at Harvard University. He is one of 3 people since 2003 (and one of 7 in the history of the competition) to be named a four-time Putnam Fellow in the William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition.[1] In addition to his performance in high school and university level mathematics competitions, Kane has published over a dozen research publications and won the 2007 Frank and Brennie Morgan Prize for Outstanding Research in Mathematics by an Undergraduate Student.
