Plot

Formed in 1988, this hard rock band is the eponymous creation of leader Glenn Danzig, issuing "a California twist on black Satanic metal." Danzig quickly became a favorite of gore-driven fans. Danzig was released the same year its single "Mother" gained airtime on MTV. The video features seven songs from the debut album, including "Am I Demon," "When Death Had No Name," "She Rides," and "Twist of Cain." The former member of the Misfits reaches a dramatic peak with his costumed and dark presentation.
