Daria Nicolodi (born 19 June 1949) is an Italian actress and screenwriter.
Nicolodi has starred in several of Dario Argento's films including Phenomena, Deep Red,Tenebrae and Opera and co-wrote Argento's Suspiria. Nicolodi also worked with directors Mario Bava, Lamberto Bava, Luigi Cozzi, Michele Soavi and his daughter Asia Argento. She continues to act and appears in Argento's The Mother of Tears, the third film in a trilogy which began with Suspiria.
She was the long term partner (1974-1985) of Italian director Dario Argento (they were never married), and is the mother of actress / director Asia Argento.
