Darnay Scott is a 6'1", 204-lb. wide receiver (born July 7, 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri) is a former professional American football player who was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round of the 1994 NFL Draft.
High School Career
Scott prepped at Kearny High School in San Diego.
College Career
Scott played college football at San Diego State University.
NFL Career
Scott played in eight NFL seasons from 1994 to 1999 and 2001 to 2002. As a rookie he led the NFL in Yards Per Reception with 18.8. His best year as a professional came during the 1999 season with the Bengals when he caught 68 receptions for 1,022 yards and seven touchdowns.
Scott caught the 77-yard touchdown pass that turned out to be the last throw of Boomer Esiason's career.
He is the uncle of former Missouri and current Oakland Raiders wide receiver Will Franklin.
