Dave Rygalski
Dave Rygalski was a fictional character in the television series Gilmore Girls, portrayed by Adam Brody.
Character History
Dave is presumably from the Hartford area although his place of residence is never stated. He is a guitarist in the original "Hep Alien" along with Lane Kim, Zach Van Gerbig, and Brian Fuller. Dave is originally introduced in the episode "Application Anxiety" where he is responding to Lane's "drummer seeks rock band" ad. From the beginning sparks flew between Lane and Dave due to their shared love of rock and roll.

Eventually, when Brody left the show to star in "The O.C.," it was explained that Dave went to college in California, and Zach became Lane's love interest and eventual husband.
