David Anthony Currie, Baron Currie of Marylebone (b. 1946) was the chairman of Ofcom (until his replacement on 11th March 2009 by Colette Bowe[1]) and a member of the House of Lords under the title of Baron Currie of Marylebone, of Marylebone in the City of Westminster.

Currie is also chairman of the Trillium Investment Fund and acts as an advisor to Unisys. He is also a member of the Dubai Financial Services Authority. [2]

David Currie was the Dean of Cass Business School at City University, London until stepping down in early 2007 after nearly 7 years as dean. [3]

It has been announced Currie will step down as chairman of Ofcom in April 2009. [4]
