David Jenkins

(b Trecastell, 30 Dec 1848; d Aberystwyth, 10 Dec 1915). Welsh composer and conductor. Besides composing hymn tunes and large choral works (Job, The Storm, The Psalm of Life), he taught at Aberystwyth, edited Y Cerddor (from 1889) and was a choral conductor in Wales and the USA.
