David Lytle Clark (26 September 1864 – 3 February 1939) was an American entrepreneur who came to the U.S. with his family when he was 8 years old, and who founded the D. L. Clark Company in 1886 in Allegheny, Pennsylvania now part of Pittsburgh.[1]
Its creations include the Clark bar and the Zagnut. Over the years the Clark Company has been bought and sold several times and is currently a holding of Necco (New England Confectionery Company).[2]
