David Graeme McAllister AM (born 25 November 1963) is a former Australian ballet dancer and current artistic director of The Australian Ballet.
He was born in Western Australia. He became a principal dancer with the Australian Ballet until his retirement as a dancer and appointment as Artistic Director of the company in 2001.
In the Australia Day Honours of 2004, he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for his services to ballet. [1]
