Biography

David Michael Anthony was born David Entwistle in Liverpool, England but grew up in the Canadian province of Kitchener. He spent his early professional life in musical theatre in, and around, Toronto, Ontario. He also worked as a dance instructor and was responsible for the choreography of Alanis Morissette's first live concert. By 1994, he had taught himself to play guitar and began writing songs. After playing the Toronto club circuit for a few years, David Michael Anthony signed a recording contract with the independent label, Awesome Records.
