Plot

The casting of posey (but outdoorsy) matinee idol Dustin Farnum as Davy Crockett is an indication right off the bat that there's going to be more loving than fighting here. The object of Crockett's affections is Eleanor Vaughn (Winifred Kingston), and the story focuses on their romance. Another man wins Eleanor's love, but Crockett heroically saves the pair in a snowstorm. Later, however, just when Eleanor is about to actually wed his rival, Crockett interrupts the ceremony, grabs Eleanor and rides off with her. ~ Janiss Garza, All Movie Guide
