The Delft Centre for Materials (DCMat) is a consortium of 22 research facilities of the Delft University of Technology. The goal of the consortium is to create coorporation between the different material researchers and more intensive cooperation in the field of education and facilities. Another goal is set to initiate a joint investigation program, about 'Self Healing Materials'. This joint venture was founded in 2004 and is an initiative of the College van Bestuur of the Technical University in Delft.
