Deal or No Deal’s Arabic version was first broadcast in 2004, having a brief weekly run on the Pan-Arabic channel MBC 1, called Al Safqa and hosted by Amir Karar, the top prize was US$1,000,000. After being cancelled, the show was revived as a daily program between 2005 and 2006 on LBC, called Deal or No Deal and hosted by Michel Sannan, the top prize was US$250,000. In 2009, Murr Television picked up the show, which started on October 20, 2009. The show is an exact replica of the the American version and has the same title and host as the LBC version, but with two extra cases. Players from Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Sudan, Yemen and Qatar can participate in the show.
