Dean railway station is a small halt station near the village of West Dean, Wiltshire (near to the Hampshire/Wiltshire border), England.

The station itself is on the Wessex Main Line 14 km (9 miles) south east of Salisbury.

Service

South West Trains operate a regular service between Salisbury and Romsey via Southampton Central. This runs hourly during the week, with a two-hourly service on Sundays, and uses 2-car Class 158 units. As a result of this the number of First Great Western between Portsmouth Harbour and Cardiff services that stop at Dean was reduced. As at July 2009, there are no First Great Western trains stopping at Dean. Although branded as a FGW station, South West Trains employees maintain that their company now own the station
