Wikipedia: Dechencholing Palace

Dechencholing Palace (བདེ་ཆེན་ཆོས་གླིང་, Wylie: bde chen chos gling[1]) is located in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. It was the residence of the late Royal Grandmother, popularly known as Gayum Phuntsho Choden Wangchuck. His Majesty King Jigme Singye Wangchuck was born here on 11 November 1955, but currently makes his residence at the Samteling Palace (Royal Cottage).

The palace lies at the northern end of the Thimphu Valley, on the east bank of the Thimphu River.[2]
