The cleft between the superior and inferior fasciae of the urogenital diaphragm, occupied by the membranous part of the urethra, the bulbourethral gland (male), the deep transverse perineal and sphincter urethrae muscles, and the dorsal nerve and artery of the penis or clitoris.
