Dental fricative or interdental fricative - non-sibilant coronal fricative.
There are two basic types:
- [ð] - voiced dental fricative
- [θ] - voiceless dental fricative
Thibilant is a term occasionally found for an (inter)dental fricative.
Though they are basically dental, alveolar realisation also occurs.
