In 2009 "Depend on you" was covered by British J-pop recording artist Bentley Jones and was released on his album TRANS//LATION[2]. Jones' version, titled "Depend on you ~Depend on Me~" was produced and arranged by himself and features brand new, original, English lyrics written by Jones. Hamasaki personally contacted Jones' label expressing her support and approval of Jones' cover and his lyrics after reviewing the track[3].
