Der Feind

Feind, Der, an unfinished story by E. T. A. Hoffmann, published posthumously in the Frauentaschenbuch (1823). Hoffmann worked at it almost to his death. It is a story of Albrecht Dürer, who at the end of his life is confronted by an implacable enemy, named Solfaterra.
