Ruf, Der, a radical literary and political periodical founded in Munich in September 1946 by A. Andersch and H. W. Richter. It was closed down in April 1947 by the US Military Government, which refused a licence to a projected successor, Der Skorpion, if Andersch and Richter were included on its board. Out of this incident arose Gruppe 47.
