Derek Joslin (born March 17, 1987 in Oak Ridges, Ontario) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player currently playing for the San Jose Sharks of the NHL.

Playing career

Joslin was drafted in the 5th round, 149th overall, of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks from the Ottawa 67's of the OHL. As a member of the 67's, Joslin led the team in scoring among defencemen in the 2005–06 season, and was selected to take part in the ADT Canada-Russia Challenge. On December 28, 2006, the Sharks signed Joslin to an entry level contract.[1] He made his NHL debut with the San Jose Sharks on January 3, 2009, in a game against the New York Islanders.[2]
