Kunst und die Revolution, Die, title of a tract by R. Wagner, published in 1849. Written with the Revolution of 1848 (see Revolutionen 1848-9) fresh in Wagner's mind, it views art as in need of renewal along with the renewal of man, and proposes that the theatre should be opened wide with free entry for all.
