Dina Araz is a fictional character in the fourth season of the TV series
24.
Day 4
Dina is seen with her family in day 4. She is affiliated with terrorist attacks and her husband, Navi. Soon Dina and Navi realize that their son, Behrooz is talking with an American girl named Debbie. Debbie soon follows Behrooz to a workhouse where the terrorists are and Navi thinks that Behrooz should invite her over. He begs Dina not to let Navi do it, but Dina lets him anyway. Dina forces Behrooz to kill Debbie, but warns her instead. It was too late, Dina poisons Debbie's tea and kills her. When she learns that Behrooz will probably be killed because of his actions, she breaks down and feels helpless to save him. However, Behrooz calls Dina and tells her how he was nearly killed, and that Navi wants him dead. She tries to sneak out of the house, but Navi coners her. She is visibly shocked and upset that Navi wants their son dead. She goes to pick him up at the train station, but she stops Navi from killing him. She ends up getting shot by Navi, and she and her son escape. Later they are apprehended by CTU, and Dina agrees to help Jack Bauer and Tony Almeida find the override, as long as Behrooz gets a presidential pardon. They save him from his father, and they are taken to CTU. Although at first she doesn't cooperate, she tells them about Habib Marwan and his involvement in the day's attacks. Later on, she helps Jack Bauer get to Joseph Fayed in order to get to Marwan. But Marwan questions Dina's commitment to their cause, and tells her to kill Jack. But then she tries to kill Marwan, and she is killed by Marwan's men.
