In Zach's case, Dan Lawton (Matthew Carey) is a jock who has always had it in for him and has made it clear that if Zach can't complete the "Dirty Deeds," he won't be the only one in trouble -- he'll also go after Meg (Lacey Chabert), the girl Zach's sweet on, as well as Meg's little brother. Biography

London-based Dirty Deeds's greatest support has come from Iron Maiden bassist/vocalist Steve Harris, who signed them to a two-CD deal with the Beast Records label that he owned with Rod Smallwood of Sanctuary Music Group, and recorded their debut album, Danger Of Infection, in his Barnyard Studio.

After touring on the British club circuit and serving as opening act on UFO's Walk On Water UK tour, in early 1998, Dirty Deeds spent eight months as opening act for Iron Maiden's Virtual XI tour.

Releasing their second album, Real World, in October 1999, Dirty Deeds remained as busy as ever. In addition to headlining their own shows, they spent three months touring with Iron Maiden's Metal 2000 tour.

With their contract with Beast fulfilled, Dirty Deeds took a much needed break from music. Resurfacing in late 2002, the band's name was shortened to Deeds. They continue to work with Harris on their third album. ~ Craig Harris, All Music Guide

Dirty Deeds is a 2005 comedy film directed by David Kendall, produced by Bill Civitella and Dan Kaplow; written by John Land and Jonathan Thies. It was released on August 25, 2005 in the United States and filmed in Los Angeles, California.

The plot is about a high school student Zach Harper (Milo Ventimiglia) who tries to complete the "Dirty Deeds" — an outrageous series of ten challenges that must be completed between dusk and dawn on the Friday night of Homecoming Weekend. In the movie, only one other student has completed all the tasks (8 at the time, two new tasks are added after as per the games rules), Duncan Rimes in 1989 (Todd Ziele).

Initially, Meg’s brother wants to complete the deeds to get himself out of being consistently bullied by the jocks. However, Zach took up this challenge to save the kid brother of Meg (Lacey Chabert) from embarrassment in doing the deeds at her insistence, though she did not mean for Zach to actually do the challenge himself. He also took up the challenge to prove himself to the school jocks who try everything possible to prevent him from completing all of the deeds. Along Zach’s way of attempting to complete all of the deeds, he takes up the help of the people around him to get the deeds done. While doing so, Zach and Meg end up creating a romantic story of their own.

The Deeds

The deeds, as written on the wall or spoken aloud, are:

  1. Drink a beer in front of cops
  2. Punch the toughest kid in town
  3. Meat on whole wheat with secret sauce
  4. Drag big inflated leprechaun to the high school
  5. Move a dead body to the high school
  6. Get a homecoming queen's bra, signed
  7. Bring back the night-watchman's false leg
  8. Steal a car worth more than $100,000
  9. Find Duncan Rimes
  10. Ruin the homecoming carnival

The first deed is completed by Zach Harper by pouring a beer into a coffee cup, he then proceeds to drink it in front of the cops from that coffee cup so the cops have no idea he has started to complete the Dirty Deeds.

  • 1978- Peter Dill (completed 0 deeds)
  • 1983- Jason Starr (completed 4 deeds)
