Biography

The French house scene exploded globally with the duo acts of Daft Punk and Cassius and DJs like Dimitri From Paris in the mid- to late '90s. A late addition to the roster of the Respect crew of DJs and producers, DJ Deep was officially inaugurated into the team with the release of his 2001 mix CD Respect to DJ Deep. The crew is responsible for the series of Paris Is Sleeping: Paris Is Burning mix albums that continued to bring attention to talent of Parisian house music artists. Prior to the "Respect" album, DJ Deep released two CDs; 1998's Slowed Down Bass and 1999's Deep. ~ Diana Potts, All Music Guide
