Biography

Nicknamed "Da Jerzey Kid," Panama City, Panama-born DJ S-Nice discovered his love of spinning while at a party in junior high school. When the DJ ran out of the party to chase down his towed car, S-Nice happened to be near the turntables and took over. Years later, after establishing himself, he won a DJ contest held by a program called Video Music Box that allowed him to spin beside Funkmaster Flex, one of his primary influences. Soon enough, he had a foothold in the music industry, releasing mixtapes to promote up-and-coming MCs and vocalists, in addition to hosting his own radio shows -- including one on XM satellite radio. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
