Biography

Old-school DJ and producer DJ Smurf came out of Atlanta's massive bass music scene, releasing his first major album, Versastyles, for Wrap Records in 1995. Two years later, Collipark Music appeared on the Benz label, with appearances by MC Shy D and tha Rhythum. Dead Crunk followed in 1998, with NonStop Booty Shake appearing a year later. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
