Dominica Championship is the top division in Dominica, it was created in 1970. 8 teams participate in this league. The winner and the runner-up of the league started in 2005 the qualifications for the CONCACAF Champions Cup from the first round of the CFU Club Championship. In 2006 any Dominican team competed at regional level.
The teams play a 14-matches league (home and away matches against the other 7 teams), in the end of that 14 matches the winner is declared the Dominica Champion and the 8th placed is relegated to Dominican Division One.
