Some downmarket newspapers, such as The Sun, are tabloids.
Cars of similar size are often distinguished by their marketing level. The Ford Maverick is more downmarket than the Ford Granada. The Chevrolet Cavalier was conceived as an upmarket alternative to the downmarket Chevrolet Chevette.
