Downtown Oklahoma City is located near the geographic center of Oklahoma City and is the main business district of the city. Downtown OKC also is the economic, financial, and entertainment center of the state of Oklahoma.
Downtown OKC consists of several districts including A-Alley, Arts District, Bricktown, Deep Deuce, the central business district, and the Flatiron District.
Unofficial areas include lower Bricktown, MidTown, Westowne, Film Row, and the new Downtown South neighbourhoods.
Since the 1990s housing has returned to downtown Oklahoma City. Many projects have been completed or are in development. Some of the different communities include:
