Dr. 90210

Plot

Described as a "reality" version of the cable TV comedy drama Nip/Tuck, the E! Entertainment network's Dr. 90210 chronicled the public and private lives of several genuine Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeons. The emphasis was on Dr. Robert M. Rey, whose small and modest practice was mainly dedicated to providing plastic surgery for those who truly needed it for medical and emotional reasons; Rey's more affluent colleagues Dr. Robert Kotler and Dr. Raj Kanodia, two inarguably dedicated and sincere men who were eager and willing to take on as many surgeries as possible to support their sumptuous (and well-deserved) lifestyles; Dr. Jason Diamond, a handsome young bachelor with a sizeable female clientele; and Dr. Linda Li, who shares a private medical practice with her anesthesiologist husband. Other cosmetic specialists featured on the program include Richard Ellenbogen, John Frank Rosenblum, Steven Svehlak, and Daniel Yamini. Dr. 90210 debuted July 11, 2004. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
