Some people consider fashion their true religion and for them, it's certainly not sacrilegious to call "Drapers Record" the bible of fashion in the UK. The venerable weekly (founded in the 1880s) is a trade publication for the women's and children's fashion industry. The magazine (which is also known simply as "Drapers") also sponsors the annual Drapers Record Awards, which honor outstanding fashion retailers in the UK and Ireland. "Drapers Record" is one of the publications that make up Emap Retail, which is part of UK trade magazine publisher Emap.
