DreamWorks Television

Wikipedia: DreamWorks Television

DreamWorks Television is a television production company that is a division of DreamWorks SKG, a former subsidiary of Viacom-owned Paramount Pictures. The syndication rights to DreamWorks' live-action TV series were held by CBS Television Distribution until fall 2008, the successor to Paramount's TV unit owned by CBS Corporation. Now they are held by Disney-ABC Domestic Television, due to the movie studio's new distribution deal with Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures (DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg had a falling out with Disney prior to forming the studio). However, not all series will be distributed by Disney-ABC. CTD continues to distribute the animated library.

It has produced shows such as:

TV specials

  • The Secret World of "Antz" (1998)
  • When You Believe: Music From "The Prince of Egypt" (1998)
  • The Hatching of "Chicken Run" (2000)
  • Gladiator Games: The Roman Bloodsport (2000)
  • We Stand Alone Together (2001)
  • What Lies Beneath: Constructing the Perfect Thriller (2001)
  • Woody Allen: A Life in Film (2002)
  • Shrek the Halls (2007) [1]
