A plant genus of the family Caryophyllaceae; contain an unknown toxin which causes tremor, diarrhea and liver and kidney lesions. Includes D. arenarioides (alfombrilla), D. cordata, D. diandra (tropical chickweed), D. pachyphylla (drymary).
