Superior to continuous analog voice recordings, DTBooks provide users with an eyes-free reading experience and still be able to skim and bookmark interesting passages. Based on the XML and SMIL standards, DTBooks use a navigation system, digitized audio files and additional human narration to allow people to move from page to page and chapter to chapter.
