Darwin Digital Television (DTD/DDT TEN) is a digital television station in Darwin, Northern Territory. It is jointly owned by the PBL Media owner of Nine Darwin and the Macquarie Media Group owner of Southern Cross Darwin TND.[2]

History
The licence to operate Darwin's third commercial television station was allocated to Darwin Digital Television Pty Ltd, a joint venture with the two existing commercial television broadcasting licensees in the Darwin area Regional Television Pty Ltd (Southern Cross Darwin) and Territory Television Pty Ltd (NTD Nine) in early 2007.[2]
The channel was due to launch in later 2007 but was delayed when the channel started test transmitting a Test-Pattern on Monday April 21, 2008 at 6.00pm.[3] The channel started transmitting Television Programs on Monday April 28, 2008 at 6.00am as part of a testing period ahead of the official launch.
High definition of DDT HD part of TEN HD started test transmissions on May 25, 2008 at 6.00am in 720p. Full transmission of DDT HD 1080i is due by December 25, 2008.

News Sports and Current Affairs
Darwin Digital Television simulcasts the Melbourne edition of Ten News at Five from ATV-10, alongside the national Early News, Morning News and Late News bulletins.

Availability
The station is available only on digital television as an affiliate of Network Ten & Southern Cross Ten. It broadcasts on UHF channel 33.[2] its signal comes through Tasmanian Digital Television Hobart
DDT HD
Darwin Digital Television will use Southern Cross Ten and will commence retransmission of Ten HD in the beginning of 2009.
