Irish Literature Companion: Dublin Drama League

Dublin Drama League, the (1919-1929), founded by Lennox Robinson, Ernest Boyd, James Stephens, and W. B. Yeats in October 1918, to introduce experimental drama to Dublin audiences. The League used the Abbey Theatre on Sunday and Monday evenings. The first season opened with Srgjan Tucic's The Liberators on 17 February.
