Duke Fergerson (born April 21, 1954 in Boise, Idaho) is a former professional American football wide receiver who played in four National Football League seasons from 1977-1980 for the Seattle Seahawks and the Buffalo Bills. He was drafted in the third round of the 1976 NFL Draft out of San Diego State University.
In 1995 and 1996, Duke Fergerson was the commissioner of the United Football League of New York and New Jersey. It was a semi-professional league whose players were not compensated financially.
Duke Fergerson coached the Harlem Hellfighters high school football team, which was featured in an ESPN profile as a high school sponsored by the NFL.
