Dyflinarski

A Norse name for the settlement along the Liffey that is now Dublin. The area of Norse habitation would include only downtown streets, a fraction of the modern metropolitan city; all of the action of James Joyce's Ulysses (1922) takes place in what was Dyflinarski.
