1793The Eagle; or, Dartmouth Centinel. The Hanover, New Hampshire, newspaper is established by Josiah Dunham (fl. 1790s) and noted for its literary style and early contributions from Joseph Dennie (1768-1812) and Royall Tyler (1757-1826). It ceased publication in 1799.
