Earl Francis "Jug" Girard (January 25, 1927 – January 17, 1997) was an American football player who played ten seasons in the National Football League as an end and punter, mainly for the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions from 1948 to 1957. He also played quarterback and defensive back early in his career.
Career
Jug Girard had a total of 703 yards in his career, 194 rushing, 3.6 average yards, 3 touchdowns and 109 receptions. In 1957 Girard played for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the last year of his career.
