East Devon is a county constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

Boundaries
The constituency, as the name suggests, is based around the eastern portion of the county of Devon. The main settlements in the seat include the coastal resort of Sidmouth.

The two-seat constituency of East Devon was abolished at the 1885 general election, with Sidmouth being transferred to the new single-member seat of Honiton. At the 1997 general election a new constituency of East Devon was established, which included Sidmouth; Sir Peter Emery, MP for Honiton since a 1967 by-election, continued to represent the area until 2001, when the present incumbent Hugo Swire was elected.
