Economic Life

That remaining period for which real estate improvements are expected to generate more income than operating expenses cost. See useful life.
Example:

Estimated period that a fixed asset will provide benefits to the company. It is usually less than the physical life of an asset because an asset continues to have physical life despite inefficiency and obsolescence.
