Plot

There are many uses for ground covers and a wide variety of plants from which to choose. Ed Hume, garden expert and host of his own TV gardening show, advises on using ground covers in a wide range of garden situations. Generally speaking, they tend to be low maintenance, but for healthy plants, attention should be paid to the right amount of fertilizer and irrigation. As Hume explains, slopes and other problem areas would benefit from the use of proper groundcovers. Hume also talks about the pros and cons of ivy, boxwood, heather, succulents, and junipers. ~ Alice Day, All Movie Guide
