Eddie Lee Ivery (born July 30, 1957 in McDuffie County, Georgia) is a former professional American football player who played running back for eight seasons for the Green Bay Packers, who retired after a leg injury. Ivery played college football at Georgia Tech as a tailback. There Ivery set an NCAA single-game rushing record of 356 yards and rushed for 3,517 yards and was selected as an AP and UPI All-American in 1978. Ivery was inducted into the Georgia Tech Athletic Hall of Fame. Now working as assistant strength coach for Georgia Tech after a tenure with the McDuffie Board of Education and coaching at Thomson High School, where he played high school ball.
