(b Budapest, 13 June 1869; d Corseaux, 28 June 1957). Hungarian composer. A pupil of Tomka in Budapest and Mandyczewski in Vienna, he settled in Switzerland in 1908 and wrote successful operettas and operas, notably Vagabund und Prinzessin (1903) and Hochzeit im Fasching (1924), and popular piano music.
