Edoardo Sanguineti (9 December 1930) is an Italian writer, born in Genoa.

Biography

During the 1960s he was a leader of the neo avant-garde Gruppo 63 movement, founded in 1963 at Solunto.

He has been also an active translator (Joyce, Molière, Shakespeare, Brecht, and Greek and Latin authors).

In the years 1979-1983 Sanguineti was a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament, elected as independent in the list of the PCI.
