Biography

Actress Eileen Percy was born in Belfast, Ireland, but was raised in Brooklyn, NY. When she was only 11, Percy began appearing on Broadway; as a young woman, she was a model and member of the Ziegfeld Follies. She made her film debut opposite Douglas Fairbanks in 1917. After appearing in three more of his films, Percy became a minor star in second features. Following her retirement from films in the early '30s, Percy began writing a society column for the Los Angeles Examiner. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

She was born in Belfast and died in Los Angeles, California. Her remains are buried at Chapel of the Pines Crematory.
