Ekkeko are an experimental band formed in mid 2005.
The band formed in the English town of Exeter where the members were all studying at the University . Ekkeko formed during the break-up of The Haze, which featured Matt Bradshaw, Alex Beaton and Chris Holmes. With Bradshaw moving from bass to vocals the band recruited Nick Duxbury. The band are named after the Incan God of the hearth, in order to get a second song onto a Campus Band CD in 2005.
The band are working on their first album, to be released in March 2007
